Trainers
Simone Maus
Simone has been a trainer with Zenergy Global since 2013 and brought Zenergy facilitation training to Australia in 2015. She is an experienced facilitator, coach and trainer working in government, corporate business and community sector. Simone also delivers Zenergy programs in Europe and the UK, works with The Zone and owns her own company Collective Insight, which she founded in 2019. A passion to improve the way we train and learn has been a common theme throughout her career. She has worked as a researcher, manager, trainer, facilitator and coach over a period of almost 20 years in the corporate, government, not-for-profit and university sectors.
Over the last 6 years, Simone has enabled leaders and teams to create better learning conditions and to thrive in change by supporting the development of their facilitation skills.
Laurel Freeland
Laurel joined Zenergy as a trainer in 2016 after completing the Zenergy Diploma in 2010 and using the materials in the corporate world for many years. She uses a social-ecological lens to help people make connections between social, environmental and economic equity. She has 15 years’ experience in Educating for Sustainability, collaborating to train 2000 teachers around Australia to integrate sustainability principles across occupational sectors. She is a mentor in Al Gore’s Climate Reality program, runs deep ecology, values and Eco Intelligence workshops and supports community regenerative projects across Australia. Laurel lives and works from Dja dja Wurrung country in Central Victoria.
Laurel sees Zenergy facilitation as an essential skill set for those working in social and ecological change.
Ross Allen
Ross brings a natural-systems perspective to his Zenergy facilitation training, supporting individual and collective transformation aligned with whole people cooperating in a sustainable world. Ross is strategic, creative and deeply curious. Ross also provides strategy and engagement services to organisations protecting and enhancing natural systems and supporting community health and wellbeing. He has a technical background in water management and ecological design.
Ross was born on Noongar (Wudjari) Country in South-West Western Australia and lives on Woiwurrung (Wurundjeri Willam) Country in Melbourne. He has supported and co-delivered Zenergy facilitation training since 2019. [read more]
Corina Roobeck
Corina is a professional facilitator, coach, trainer, and cultural strategist who has been bringing the joy and collaborative skills of Zenergy to the world since 2001. Specializing in corporate cultural transformation and c-suite coaching, she co-founded The Zone 23 years ago and has worked in 30 + countries. She is known as the 'coach's coach,' bringing her sense of play and lightness to the serious work of developing mastery in the fields of collaboration and leadership. In 2010 she co-founded Zenergy Unlimited in Europe. Today she freelances globally, working with people she loves and doing the work that makes a positive difference.
The world needs collaborative facilitation skills more than ever. Corina is committed to changing how we work, and we have much to do.
Corina resides in Sheffield, UK, and Malaga, Spain, alongside her husband Barry and their dog Rocky. [read more]
