Stage 1 is a 3.5 day fully experiential training that will give you the tools, skills and learning necessary to facilitate great meetings and generate collective intelligence.

The Art of Facilitation is the Stage 1 of the Zenergy Diploma, which includes the foundational tools and frameworks of the Zenergy technology. Through the experiential nature of the training, participants will walk away with an embodied understanding of what it means to be a whole person facilitator who knows how to facilitate connection and generate collective intelligence so a group can achieve its purpose.

Sessions: Wednesday - Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm, Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm

  • Understand the role of a facilitator and the group development cycles.
  • Clarify, identify and create a group purpose.
  • Create a safe and empowering group culture.
  • Learn the whole personhood approach and be present to self, others and the group.
  • Practise a range of interventions, processes and techniques appropriately within the group.
  • Be comfortable with a wide range of behaviours and handle conflict effectively.
  • Recognise and work with different energy levels in self, others and the group.

Who is it for?

This programme is particularly aimed at people working in government, community or business sectors. It is for leaders, managers, community facilitators and consultants. It is for people with any level of experience in facilitation who have had no formal training in facilitation and/or any training in the Zenergy Facilitation methodology.

About the trainers

This is a special programme where Simone Maus from Australia and Kelly Townsend from New Zealand will work together as an Australasian team.


Simone Maus has been a trainer with Zenergy Global since 2013 and has worked together with Kelly in the past on several occasions. In 2015 Simone relocated from New Zealand to Australia and brought the Zenergy work with her. Since then Zenergy Global Australia has been growing and had several programmes delivered all over Australia. This will be the first programme in Queensland.



Kelly is passionate about individuals connecting with their whole, unique and beautiful selves, so they are able to co-operate for a more peaceful and sustainable world. Facilitator, circle host, connector, writer, celebrant, mentor, HR consultant and family historian. Her purpose is Freedom Through Connection.




Course Cost: Residential Special price*: $1995,- (Corporate, Business and Government) $1500 (Not-for-profit) plus GST.

*If you choose to stay at the venue, accomodation and food have an additional cost of $100 per person per night.
